The Culinary Vegetable Institute is a pristine facility nestled in a cozy scenic setting located in Milan, Ohio.  Throughout the year this location has various events scheduled and receives many guests that have an opportunity to relax and enjoy a fine dining experience.  We take pride in offering our guests the utmost service along with exquisite masterpieces offered by the chef.

The Culinary Vegetable Institute is the premier venue for the finest in culinary experiences including Earth to Table Dinners, Wine Tastings, Weddings, Private and Corporate Functions and Team Building Retreats. 


 

Server | Part-Time

Needs vary from breakfast, lunches, dinners, weekdays and weekends.  We are looking for professional servers who have previous serving and/or bartending experience at a fine-dining establishment.     

  • Prepare dining areas with necessary set up for functions. This may include any decorating needed for tables and/or side stations. Making sure all table setting items are polished and free of any spots.
  • Adhere to all sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies.
  • Assist guests with food and beverages by offering beverages, explaining the chef's menu, identifying appropriate wines (if applicable) and answering food preparation questions.
  • Pour wine, water or any other beverages at the tableside.
  • Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to guest spills or other special needs.
  • Keep kitchen staff informed by noting any food concerns or allergies by the guests.
  • Respond to guests inquiring needs and/or concerns. If unable to respond to a guest's concern, immediately direct the concern to the supervisor on staff.
